BusyBox - Track your time App Reviews

Nice way to keep track of an activity. It works. Its a clean interface with nice options to personalize. It is not glitchy. It allows total vs average duration. Individual activities can be reviewed over different periods of time or a specific date. Suggestions to make it even better: * Hold off starting timer when activity is tapped. It may be an extra step but I would rather start the clock after tapping activity * Ability to resume a timer not start over * Timer on more than one task occurring at the same time or overlapping. * Group activities by color * Ability to reposition an activity in the list

This app has a nice simple interface thats so easy to set up and use. We have to keep track of how much time is spent on certain projects for work and submit that all on a timesheet weekly, and this has been super helpful with accurately tracking all that without getting in the way of itself. If I had to offer some suggestions, I would like to see the ability to reassign the colors on the tasks, and perhaps something to remind you when its running in the background from the home screen. Maybe similar to how theres a blue bar at the top of the screen when you have navigation running and you leave the Maps app to do something else? Just an idea, but great job so far!

I generally dont write reviews, but this has been my main app this past week. Basically as you start doing something, you tell the app what activity you are doing. At the end of the (day/week/month/year), you can check back and see where you spent most of your time. Only problem is I sometimes forget to CHANGE current activity so it might be stuck on "band rehearsal" all night and leave inaccurate time measurements. To fix, please allow us to MODIFY time values in the case of a mistake, or add smart reminders that remind us to change activity. Thanks! (Notification Center widget would be awesome as well!)

Excellent APP. Easy to use and you can email reports in excel. I use it for my home business to keep track of projects.

I have downloaded several time trackers to keep track of time spent on numerous projects in small increments of time, with a lot of switching. This one beats them for its ease in switching takes. One click starts a task and clicking another task while it is counting closes the prior one and opens the new one. Some people didnt like the non-overlap, but this is key for me. Already finding that I spend more time than I thought on several projects. Well done app, thank you!

I provide contraced services, and Ive used this app for over a year to track my hours and activities. Its made my required billing reporting so much easier. It now allows syncing with dropbox, which I cant recommend enough. Ive lost all data twice in ios upgrades. The second time, I was able to easily recover it by syncing with dropbox.

Being able to see how much time is spent per project makes for valuable, "in your face" accountability.

As simple as this app sounds it can change the way you work. By using it I quickly learned that I was wasting time, putting it into TV rather than my job search. The app has to improve its interface and add some functions so I gave it four stars. Otherwise its really good

Neat enough. Revealing just how much (and how little) time I put into things, BB has made me much more aware of where my time goes. Ive been increasingly more productive since I began using it.

This is a great app, but it can use a brief user guide. At first I thought it was too rigid. Then I found two things that helped: 1) you can edit the start and stop times after they have been recorded. 2) You can tap the timer to stop recording time. Now it is very useful because you can see your history for the past few days, and how much time you spent doing something.

No multitasking or landscape support.

This has been a great tool to keep track of the time I spend on billable and non-billable projects. Because it is tracking my time I have a good handle on how long it takes to get things done. It makes my weekly accounting of billable hours much easier.
